Gym-goers often struggle with losing stubborn belly fat. The area around our midsection, unfortunately, is the last area of our bodies we lose fat. Hormones, diet, and metabolism all play a role in how fast or slow we lose weight, especially in the “love handles” area.
The most effective way to lose weight overall, is to do HIIT workouts. High intensity interval training has the best research behind it with it’s ability to burn higher rates of fat and build muscle in a short amount of time. Remember, you cannot “spot treat” areas that are difficult to lose weight in. You can’t simply lose fat in just one area, but do total body workouts to reduce overall fat which in turn, will lover the body fat percentage in your body.
Eating a diet with minimal sugar, trans fats, limiting alcohol, drinking enough water, and getting enough sleep will all help minimize the abdominal area. Let’s do this!
